The Pre-Comp Stars Team is by invitation only for those students who wish to compete and perform with a lighter commitment level than the Competition Team. The team is developed solely by teacher recommendations from the previous year's tap/ballet/jazz classes, where the teacher takes note of the student's attendance, technique, and work ethic. Dancers are then invited to take a class and will be observed to determine whether or not they are ready for the Competition Team.  The Pre-Comp Team Stars compete at one regional competition and performs at the annual recital as well.
